” میں نے تمہیں صرف مشکل سے نکالا تھا۔ تمہیں کس نے کہا تھا کہ یوں سج سنور کر یہاں بیٹھو اور میں تمہیں قبول کرلوں گا۔”

وہ غصے سے پھنکارا۔
مجھے ترس آیا تھا تم پر ۔ اس کا یہ مطلب ہر گز نہیں کہ تم یوں شعلہ جوالہ بنا دیکھ کر تمہارے سامنے بچھ جاؤں گا۔ کیا تک بنتی ہے تمہاری سج سنور کر یہاں بیٹھنے کی۔ “

اسکی زبان آگ اگل رہی تھی۔

“جاؤ کپڑے بدل لو۔ ” اب کی بار وہ صاف لہجے میں بغیر غصے کے بولا تھا۔ وہ آنسو صاف کرتی فورا اٹھ کر داشر وم چلی گئی۔

اب اسے سونا بھی ہو گا اسے کہاں سلاؤں گا بھلا۔ باہر بھیج دیا تو اماں بہنیں کیا سوچیں گی۔ اور اس کی بھی بے عزتی ہو جائے گی۔”
