ایک پل کے لیے ماہوین کی آنکھیں بےیقینی سے پھیلیں۔ وہ جھٹکے سے پلٹی اور ایسی نگاہوں سے اسے دیکھا جیسے اس کا دماغ چل گیا ہو۔

“جی کیوں نہیں، آپ کہے تو میں زمین پر بھی خاصہ کمفرٹیبل ہو جاؤں گی۔” اس نے طنزیہ انداز میں جواب دیا تو زارون نے حیرانی سے اسے دیکھا۔ پھر سر جھٹک کر بستر پر تکیہ درست کرتے ہوئے بولا۔

“اس لیے کہہ رہا ہوں کہ میں صوفے پر نہیں سو سکتا۔” مختصر سے انداز میں وضاحت پیش کی۔

“اور میں تو جیسے ساری زندگی صوفے پر سونے کی عادی رہی ہوں نا؟” وہ دانت پر دانت جما کر بڑبڑائی۔

اس نے سر جھٹک کر اپنی کلائی میں بندھے بریسلیٹ کو دیکھا تو آنکھیں ستائشی انداز میں پھیل گئی۔

“یہ… یہ بہت خوبصورت ہے۔” وہ زارون کو دیکھ مسکرا کر بولی۔ زارون بھی مسکرا دیا۔

“تھینک یو۔” زارون نے کہا تو ماہوین نے ناسمجھی سے اسے دیکھا۔

“کس لیے؟”

“تم نے میری پسند کی تعریف کی ہے نا اس لیے۔” وہ مسکرا کر بولا۔ جس پر ماہوین نے منہ بسور کر خفگی جتائی۔

“آپ نے تو وہ بھی نہیں کی۔ ہونہہ۔” زیر لب بڑبڑائی۔

“کیا نہیں کی؟” وہ سمجھ کر بھی ناسمجھی سے بولا۔

“تعریف۔” ماہوین نے دانت کچکچائے۔

“کس کی؟” وہ سوالیہ نظروں سے اسے دیکھتا پوچھ رہا تھا۔ ماہوین نے سختی سے لب بھینچ کر اسے گھورا۔ “اف!”

پھر پیر پٹختی ڈریسنگ کے سامنے جا کھڑی ہوئی اور اپنے زیور اتارنے لگی۔ اس کی خفگی دیکھ کر زارون کا بےساختہ امڈنے والا قہقہہ ماہوین کو تپا گیا تھا۔

“ذرا جو احساس ہو انہیں’ جب سے شادی ہوئی ہے ایسے ہی بدتمیزی کیے جا رہے ہیں۔” خفگی سے بڑبڑاتے ہوئے اس نے کانوں سے ائیررنگز اتار کر ڈریسنگ پر پٹخے۔

زارون اس کے پیچھے آ کھڑا ہوا اور کھندھے پر ہاتھ جما کر اس کا رخ اپنی جانب کیا۔ وہ نظریں پھیر گئی۔ کچھ لمحے اسے دیکھتے رہنے کے بعد زارون نے نرمی سے اس کی تھوڑی کو پکڑتے چہرہ اوپر اٹھایا۔

“اچھی لگ رہی ہو۔” مسکراہٹ دبا کر کہا تو ماہوین لب بھینچ کر رہ گئی۔ کانوں کی لو بے ساختہ سرخ ہوئی تھی مگر شرم سے نہيں غصے سے۔ وہ جانتی تھی اس کا اشارہ اس کے بناؤ سنگار کی جانب نہیں بلکہ غصے اور خفگی کی جانب تھا۔

Story ka premise promising hai aur main leads ka portrayal engaging raha. Dialogue mostly natural thay lekin kabhi kabhi flow ko slow kar detay hain. Plot ka overall pace theek tha, lekin characters aur unke decisions ko thoda aur depth milti to story ka impact aur strong hota. Writer ka effort clear hai aur unke writing potential kaafi promising hai.

Is novel main hero ki maa ka role muje sab se acha laga jasey wo apne bete ki galti par use suna deti hain aur jasey apni baho ko betiyoun ki tarha treat karti hain aur wo point “Tum mere ghar ka itna khayal kyu karti ho” mardon ko yeh samjne ki zaroorat ha ke larki apne shohar ke ghar ko apna ghar samjti ha aur heroine ki bhabhi ka role jab wo kehti ha ke “maa chahe apki ho ya kisi aur ki usko naraz kar ke ghar nahi baste”.

I just read rafta rafta, bht khoobsurat likha hwa tha specially zaroon ki maa ka character bht acha lga, hr saas ki trah usne bahu ko galt nae kaha blky bete ki gakti py us galt kaha or mahveen ka sath diya, or chracters or unk dialigues b bht zbrdst thy.. zaroon ka kirdar ek riwayti mard jysa e tha shru myn lkn bd myn uski chracter development bht achi thi, husband wife 2no agr ek 2sre k sath compromise kryn ek 2sre ko smjhyn tu e zindagi asan rhti hy wrn alrai jghra tu hta e rhta.. bht khoobsurat rha..

مجھے یہ کہانی اس لیے اچھی لگی کیونکہ یہ ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ صبر اور سمجھداری سے کسی بھی اجنبی رشتے کو زندگی کا سب سے خوبصورت رشتہ بنایا جا سکتا ہے۔ عام طور پر ناولوں میں ہیروئن بہت ہی بولڈ یا بہت ہی آئیڈیل دکھائی جاتی ہے، لیکن ماہوین ہم جیسی ایک عام سی لڑکی ہے جو سسرال کے پہلے دن ڈرتی بھی ہے، روتی بھی ہے اور اسے اپنے شوہر کی بے رخی پر غصہ بھی آتا ہے۔ اس کی شخصیت کی یہ سادگی قاری کو کہانی کے ساتھ باندھے رکھتی ہے۔ زارون کا کردار بھی بہت حقیقت پسندانہ ہے۔ وہ ایک مصروف اور عملی انسان دکھایا گیا ہے جس کے لیے شادی کے فوراً بعد اپنی روٹین بدلنا مشکل تھا۔ اس کا آہستہ آہستہ ماہوین کی عادت میں مبتلا ہونا اور پھر اس کے بغیر ادھورا محسوس کرنا، یہ دکھاتا ہے کہ مردوں کے لیے محبت کا اظہار اکثر لفظوں سے نہیں بلکہ عمل سے ہوتا ہے۔ اس کہانی میں کہیں بھی بے جا ڈرامہ نہیں ہے۔ میاں بیوی کے درمیان تلخیاں بھی ہوئیں تو وہ ایک وقار کے دائرے میں رہیں۔ کہانی پڑھ کر مجھے محسوس ہوا کہ زندگی میں سب کچھ فورا حاصل نہیں ہوتا۔ سب سے قیمتی رشتے وہی ہوتے ہیں جو وقت کی دھوپ چھاؤں سے گزر کر “رفتہ رفتہ” پختہ ہوتے ہیں۔ لکھاری نے بہت عمدہ کام کیا ہے 🫶🏻۔

Kahani ki sabse dilchasp bat eski kirdar nigari aur sada zaban ha. kahani kisi melo drama ke bagair bhot dischaspi se agei brhti rahi aur rishto ko bhot khubsurti se bayan kiya. Agar mein apne pasandida kirdar ki bat kru to ksi ek ka intekhab krna bht mushqil ha q ke sab itne haqeeqat pasandana andaz me likhe gai the ke mein bhul hi gai ke mein kahani parh rahi hun, mein kahani me etna kho gai ke mene khud ko mahveen ki jagah mehsoo kia😂 beher haal ye meri zindagi ka sab se khubsurat tajurba tha. Allah pak writer ke kalam me barkat dei aur aese hi maze maze ki kahaniya likhwain 🫶🏻
