(وہی گھر میں پہننے واال سادہ لباس اور پُر اعتماد

سے بھرا ہوا چہرہ جس پر مسکراہٹ سجی تھی،

لیے کمرے میں داخل ہوئ رشتہ اس کی مرضی کا

نہ تھا مگر اس بات کا اس نے اظہار نہیں کیا)

“وعلیکم السالم، وعلیکم السالم۔۔

بھئی فرزانہ نند تو تمہاری بہت خوبصورت ہے بس

گھر گرہستی میں بھی پورے نمبر لینے ہوں گے”

ان کا اشارہ مہر کی بڑی اور ترچھی آنکھوں کی

طرف تھا جو گھنی پلکوں سے ڈھکی ہوئی تھیں.

اپا نے اسے پیر سے سر تک پورا اسکین کیا

آپ بالکل فکر نہ کریں، میں نے سوئی سے لے کر

باورچی خانے تک ہر چیز خود اپنے ان ہاتھوں

سے اسے سکھائی ہے، ہریالی لےکر آۓ گی آپ

کے گھر میں۔۔ ہاتھوں میں چراغ لے کر بھی

ڈھونڈیں گی تو ایسی بہو نہیں ملنے والی۔۔

ھی پڑھنا شروع کر دیے(

تم کتنا پڑھی ہوئی ہو، تمہاری بھابھی بتا رہی تھی

کہ جاب بھی کرتی ہو؟ بھئی میرے شہزادے نے

تو اپنی ڈگری بھی مکمل کر لی ہے۔ماشاء هللا سے

مہر جو ٹانگ پر ٹانگ رکھ کر بیٹھی ہوئی تھی۔۔

پُر اعتماد انداز میں بولی

حال ہی میں میری جاب لگی ہے۔

لو بھئی سونے پہ سوہا گا ، تمہاری نند تو ہیرا ہے

ہیرا بس عمر تھوڑی زیادہ لگ رہی ہے۔۔ لیکن آج کل یہ باتیں کہاں دیکھی جاتی ہیں، کتنا کما لیتی

ہو؟

انکے منہ سے رالو ڈھانے لگیں

آپ میری چھوڑیں، آپ کا شہزادہ کیا کام کرتا ہے؟

لو کر لو بات۔۔ اب بھال شوہر کمائے یا بیگم اس

سے کیا فرق پڑتا ہے بس زندگی کی گاڑی چلتی

رہنی چاہیے۔۔

هللا معاف کرے آنٹی جی کوئی جسمانی تکلیف آپ

کے شہزادے کو؟

چاۓ کا کپ اٹھاتے ہوئے اس نے تنز کیا

ہاہاہا، بڑی ہی کوئی مزاحیہ ہو تم تو۔

)مزاق اس میں آپا کو لگا ہو یا نا لگا ہو لیکن

مرچے ضرور لگ گئی تھیں(

بکواس.. یہ چائے کس نے بنائی ہے بھابھی۔۔

یار وہ میں نے سکینہ سے کہا تھا۔۔

بھابھی اسے چائے کہاں بنانے آتی ہے،۔۔ وہ کافی

اچھی بناتی ہے،۔۔ اسے کہیں میرے لیے کافی

بنائے۔۔ میں بہت تھک گئی ہوں میں روم میں جا

رہی ہوں۔

(لڑکے والے اسے دیکھنے گھر آئے ہوئے ہیں اور

اسے کافی کی پڑی ہوئی، کوئی اسے سمجھائے)

مہر بھابھی سے کہہ کر کمرے سے جانے لگی۔۔

اس نے صوفیہ آپا کو ایسے نظر انداز کیا جیسے

کمرے میں کوئی تھا ہی نہیں۔۔

ہائے اللہ دیکھو تو سہی۔

یہ جن کے آگے پیچھے کوئی نہیں ہوتا ان کی

تربیت پھر ایسی ہی ہوتی۔۔ یاد رکھنا فرزانہ میں

تمہارے کہنے پر آئی تھی۔۔

(بلکل درست بات کہی اپا نے جن کے اگے

پیچھے کوئ دیکھنے کرنے وال نہ ہو پھر اس پاس

کے لوگ انہیں اپنے شیکنجو میں پھانسنے کی

کوشش کرتے) آپا سنیے آپا۔۔ مہر تو پہلے ہی جا چکی تھی اور

صوفیہ آپا بھی ناک پھالتی نکل گئیں۔۔ پیچھے

بھابھی آپا آپا گنگنانے لگیں۔۔
