” بے وقوف، موقع سے فائدہ اٹھانا سیکھو۔۔۔” وہ بے وقوف اسے سمجھا رہی تھی۔
“یہ تم دونوں کیا باتیں کر رہے ہو۔ ” عبد العزیز کا دھیان ادھر ہوا۔
“کچھ نہیں تایا ابو۔۔۔” وہ سیدھی ہو کر فورا نیک پروین ہو گئی۔
”یہ معید کچھ کہہ رہا تھا۔”
” کیا کہہ رہا تھا؟؟ بولو بیٹا!”
” میں تو کچھ نہیں کہہ رہا تھا۔۔ ” وہ سٹپٹایا ۔۔
“اب مکر کیوں رہے ہو ؟ بھی تو میرے کان کھار ہے تھے۔ “حمیرا مجبور نظر آئی۔
“حمیرا!!” اس نے دانت پیس کر اسے دیکھا۔
“تم ہی بتا دو کیا کہہ رہا تھا۔ ” عبد العزیز نے حمیرا سے ہی پوچھ لینا مناسب سمجھا۔
“بتادوں؟؟؟” اس نے معید سے پوچھا پھر پلکیں کہتا پٹیٹاتے ہوئے لب کھولے،
“کہہ رہا تھا، ابو سے ہوں صفیہ چچی سے حمیرا کے دن بھی لے لیتے ہیں۔”
“کیا!!” معید کرسی سے اچھل پڑا۔
“میں نے کہا میں لڑکی ہو کر ایسی بات کیسے کر سکتی ہوں آفٹر آل میں مشرقی لڑکی ہوں،
جو جان سے چلی جاتی ہے مگر آن نہیں جانے دیتی۔۔۔”
“یہ جھوٹ بول رہی ہے ابو بکواس کرتی ہے۔” معید اپنی جگہ سے کھڑا ہو گیا۔
” اب مجھے پریشرائز کرنے کے لیے چلا رہا ہے۔ کیا ساری زندگی مجھ پر ایسے ہی رعب جھاڑے گا۔”
سخت فکر مندی سے حاضرین کو دیکھا۔ دیکھنے کی چیز اس وقت پھپھی بھولی تھی۔ ناک پر انگلی ٹکا کر

اور چلو معید نے ایسا آئیڈیا دے بھی دیا تھا تو لڑکے تو ایسی شوخیاں کرتے ہی ہیں۔ لڑکی ہی کو پی لینا چاہیے تھا۔”
پھر پھپھی نے جو کچھ سوچا وہ بی بی حمیرا سے کہ بھی دیا۔
