لمبے بالوں کی چوٹی کمر پر لہرا رہی تھی۔
“روز تو بنا منہ دھوئے آجاتی ہو آج کیوں جوش چڑھا ہے دلہن بننے کا؟”
شاهویز اس کی چوٹی کھینچ کر چولہے کے پاس سے ہٹاتے ہوئے بولا
“جی نہیں ایسا کوئی شوق نہیں ہے مجھے تیار ہو کر اس جنجال پورے میں آنے کا۔۔”
وہ سنک کی طرف مڑ کر برتن دھونے لگی۔
“اللہ بری نظر سے بچائے، ماشاء اللہ بھرا پرا گھر ہے۔” وہ حلوے کا چمچہ منہ میں رکھتے ہوئے بولا ۔
“اف اتنی کیا جلدی ہے کچھ ٹھنڈا کر کے کھالو۔” گرم گرم حلوے نے اس کا منہ جلا دیا تھا۔
” نہیں مزہ ہی ایسے کھانے سے کھانے میں ہے ہمارے گھر بھیجوگی نہیں کہ میرے معصوم
بہن بھائی بھی کچھ کھالیں۔۔” “تم معصوم اور تمہارے بہن بھائی معصوم پھر تو دنیا میں اور
کوئی معصوم نہیں ہوگا، ان کے لیے ہی اتنا کچھ رکھا ہے لیتے جاؤ۔۔”
وہ ایک ڈونگے میں میں حلوہ ڈال کر اوپر سے بادام سجانے لگی ۔ “تمہارے بال کچھ چھوٹے نہیں ہو گئے ؟“
وہ جانتا تھا وہ اپنے بالوں کے معاملے میں بڑی حساس ہے، وہ ڈونگہ رکھ کر اپنے بالوں کی کر اپنے
بالوں کی چوٹی آگے کر کے دیکھنے لگی۔ “نہیں ٹھیک ہیں۔۔۔”
اس نے چوٹی ہاتھ میں لے کردیکھی پھر لاپروائی سے پیچھے پھینکی۔

“ایسے لا پرواہی سے اتنی لمبی چوٹی دوبارہ پھینکی تو ایسا نہ ہو کسی دروازے میں الجھ جائے تو
چھپکلی کی طرح لٹکتی رہ جاؤ گی۔۔” وہ باورچی خانے سے نکلتے ہوئے بولا۔
“ویسے حلوہ اچھا بنا ہے۔۔” دروازے کے پاس مڑ کر اسے دیکھتے ہوئے بولا۔ سر جھٹک کر وہ ڈونگے
میں باقی کے خشک میں رکھنے لگی لیکن ابھی جا کر دینے کا ارادہ ملتوی کر دیا، پتا نہیں کچھ
عجیب سا محسوس ہو رہا تھا یا ہر دروازے سا ہورہا تھایا پر دستک ہورہی تھی وہ کھولنے چل پڑی۔
