“کوئی مجھے پسند کرتا ہے۔” ایک گہری سانس بھرتے ہوئے اس نے مناسب الفاظ استعمال کیے۔جس سے مقصد بھی واضح ہو جائے اور عزت بھی رہ جائے۔

“کون؟” سوال توقع کے عین مطابق تھا۔انہیں حیرت نہیں ہوئی۔ایک دن یہ ہونا ہی تھا۔

“ہے کوئی۔یونیورسٹی میں پڑھتا ہے میرے ساتھ۔اچھا لڑکا ہے۔” اِدھر اُدھر دیکھتے ہوئے اس نے لاپرواہی سے کہا۔

جیسے اس بات کی کوئی اہمیت نہ ہو۔

“اگر اتنا ہی اچھا ہے تو تم اس سے چھپتی کیوں پھرتی ہو؟” اب انٹرویو شروع ہوا تھا۔نایاب کے دل کی دھڑکن بڑھ گئی۔نانو اس کی ایک ایک حرکت پر نظریں جمائے ہوئی تھیں۔فرار ناممکن تھا۔

نانو آج سب اگلوا کر ہی رہے گی۔اس نے دل میں سوچا۔

“میں کہاں چھپ رہی ہوں؟” بالوں کی لٹ کان کے پیچھے اڑستے ہوئے اس نے مضبوطی سے جھوٹ بولا۔

وہ بھی اتنی آسانی سے نہیں بتائے گی۔لیکن وہ زیادہ دیر ان سے چھپا نہیں سکے گی یہ بھی وہ جانتی تھی۔

“تو یونیورسٹی کیوں نہیں جا رہی ہو؟” نانو نے ایک سیکنڈ کے لیے بھی اس کے چہرے سے نظریں نہیں ہٹائی تھی۔

وہ اس کے ہر قدم،ہر عمل سے باخوبی واقف تھیں۔ان کے ہاتھوں میں موجود وہ ننھی کلی اب بڑی ہو گئی تھی۔

“بتایا تو تھا۔” جلدی جلدی یہاں سے نکل جانے کو پر تولتے ہوئے وہ زچ ہو گئی۔

کمرے میں آکسیجن کی کمی محسوس کرتے ہوئے اس نے گہرا سانس لیا۔

“نایاب مجھے سب سچ سچ بتاؤ ورنہ مجھ سے برا کوئی نہیں ہو گا۔میری نرمی کا نا جائز فائدہ مت اٹھاؤ۔” نانو نے سختی سے اسے ٹوکتے ہوئے احساس دلوایا کہ موضوع سنجیدہ تھا۔اور وہ بھی سنجیدگی سے انہیں سب بتائے۔

ان کی کرخت آواز پر نایاب تیر کی طرح سیدھی ہوئی تھی۔

“کیا بتاؤں نانو۔وہ مجھے پسند کرتا ہے۔کہتا ہے شادی کرے گا۔اگر شادی نہ ہوئی تو وہ مر جائے گا۔” اس دفعہ اس نے من و عن دہرا دیا۔آخر حل بھی تو اسے یہیں سے ملنا تھا۔

“کس کے لیے؟” نانو نے اس کی ساری بات تحمل سے سن کر پوچھا۔ایسے جذباتی ڈائیلاگ کا ان پر کوئی خاص اثر نظر نہیں آرہا تھا۔

“کیا؟” نایاب نے اتنی لاپرواہی پر انہیں حیرت سے تکتے کہا۔اتنی بڑی بات پر وہ یوں نارمل تھیں۔

آہ۔وہی بات۔وہ۔ہر چیز کو سر پر سوار نہیں کرتی تھیں۔

“کس کے لیے مر جائے گا؟” سوال دہرایا گیا۔

اب کہ وہ اپنے کنگن گھماتے ہوئے پہلے سے زیادہ پرسکون تھیں۔

جیسے وہ معاملےکو گہرائی تک سمجھ گئی ہوں۔

“ظاہر سی بات ہے میرے لیے۔” نایاب کے لہجے میں ہلکا سا غرور تھا یا شاید مان۔

نانو مسکرا دیں۔

“جان اللہ کی امانت ہے۔اور یہ صرف اللہ کے لیے اللہ کی راہ میں دی جاتی ہے۔وہ بیوقوف ہے، یا تمہیں بنا رہا ہے۔” انہوں نے وضاحت سے اسے سمجھاتے ہوئے کہا تھا۔اب وہ مکمل اس کی طرف متوجہ ہو گئیں۔

“وہ تو ٹھیک ہے، لیکن کوئی مجھ سے اتنی محبت کرتا ہے کہ میرے لیے جان بھی دینے کو تیار ہے۔یہ بھی تو دیکھیں۔” نایاب کو جیسے یہ بات ہضم نہیں ہوئی۔

کوئی اس کے لیے جان دینے کی بات کر رہا تھا اس کا خوش فہم ہونا بھی بنتا تھا۔

“تم اس سے صرف اس بات کے لیے امپریس ہو رہی ہو؟ مجھے تم سے اتنی بے عقلی کی امید نہیں تھی۔” نانو نے انتہائی مایوسی سے اسے جواب دیا۔انہیں واقعی اس کی اتنی جذباتیت پر افسوس ہوا تھا۔

“نانو آپ شاید سمجھ نہیں رہیں۔دیکھیں اگر کوئی آپ کے لیے اپنی جان دینے کو تیار ہوتا تو آپ کو کیسا لگتا؟” وہ آگے ہوتے ہوئے اشتیاق سے بولی۔ان کے اندر بھی وہ احساس پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کی جو وہ محسوس کر رہی تھی۔

“وہ میرے لیے نہیں جیا نایاب۔” نانو نے دوپٹے سے چہرہ صاف کرتے ہوئے کہا۔وہ یکدم ہی ایک بوڑھی عورت سے دو دن کی دلہن بن گئی تھیں۔کنگن کی چھنکتی آواز نے کمرے کے سکوت کو توڑا۔

“جینا تو آسان ہوتا ہے۔وہ جی سکتا تھا میرے لیے۔ہمارے مستقبل کے لیے۔لیکن اس نے شہادت کو چنا۔اس نے اللہ کی محبت کے درمیان اس دنیاوی محبت کو نہیں آنے دیا۔” وہ بول رہی تھیں اور لفظ ،لفظ نایاب کی سماعتوں میں مرہم بن کر اتر رہا تھا۔

وہ اس عورت کو سن رہی تھی جس کا شوہر اس کے لیے نہیں جیا۔تو ایک غیر مرد اس کے لیے کیسے مر جائے گا؟

وہ اس زرد خستہ کاغذ کو پکڑے اس کے غیر مرئی نقطے پر نظریں جمائے ہوئے تھی۔زہن بالکل صاف ہو گیا تھا۔فلسفہ کلئیر تھا۔اہمیت واضح ہو گئی تھی۔

“اور تم کہتی ہو وہ تمہارے نہ ملنے پر مر جائے گا؟دیکھو اس کاغذ کو پڑھو۔وہ میرے مل جانے پر مر گیا نایاب۔کیونکہ اس کی زندگی اور موت اللہ کے لیے تھی۔میں اس کی زندگی کا حصہ تھی لیکن اس کا مقصد بہت واضح اور ان چیزوں سے بہت اوپر تھا۔” انہوں نے گہری سانس بھرتے خود کو کمپوز کرنے کی کوشش کی۔
