“اب رات کے اس وقت وہ کہیں اور تو ہو نہیں سکتی۔ ظاہر سی بات ہے میرے پاس ہوگی۔ میں کسی عورت کو رات میں بے سہارا نہیں چھوڑتا۔”

“اپنی بکواس بند رکھو!” اس بار زید دھاڑا تھا لیکن آریان کوئی اثر نہیں لے رہا تھا۔

“ویسے تمہیں رات کے گیارہ بجے جب پتہ چل ہی گیا تھا تمہاری بیوی غائب ہے، تو سیدھا مجھے ہی کال کرتے۔ بلاوجہ پہلے ٹیوشن سینٹر، ہاسٹل اور جائی یانہ کی دوسری دوستوں کے پاس گئے۔ مجھ سے اگر سیدھا پوچھتے تو میں تھوڑی نہ جھوٹ بولتا، ابھی کی طرح صاف صاف اعتراف کرتا۔ جائی یانہ ویسے بھی میرے بس ایک ہاتھ کی دوری پر لیٹی تھی۔ تم کہتے تو اسے جگا کر تم سے بات کروا دیتا۔”

“آریان!” زید کا بس نہیں چل رہا تھا۔

“یار! آریان آریان بلانے سے تو سب کچھ نہیں ہوگا۔ بیوی تو تمہاری ہی ہے، اگر ایک رات کے لیے میرے پاس ہے بھی تو کونسا کچھ ہو۔۔”

“میں تمہارے گھر آ کر تمہیں بتاتا ہوں غلیظ انسان!” زید نے اس کی بات کاٹی۔ پھر اس نے کال کاٹنی چاہی مگر آریان کی آواز اسپیکر پر ابھری۔

“میرے گھر آنے کی بھول نہ کرنا ورنہ تمہاری بیوی تمہیں ملے گی تو سہی مگر مردہ حالت میں۔۔۔”

اس بار آریان کا لہجہ بے لچک تھا۔

زید کا ہاتھ پریشانی سے ماتھے پر گیا۔

“دیکھو آریان! میری بیوی سے تمہارا کوئی لینا دینا نہیں ہے۔ اسے آزاد کر دو۔ جو بھی بات کرنی ہے، مجھ سے کرو۔”

آریان نے زید کی بات کا جواب دینا پسند نہیں کیا۔

“مجھے نیند آ رہی ہے زید! کل دوپہر دو بجے تمہیں ایڈریس بھیجوں گا وہاں پر پہنچ جانا اور ہاں پولیس کو ان سب میں مت گھسانا۔ میرا تو کچھ نہیں جائے گا لیکن ایک رات تھانے میں تم خود بند ہوگے۔”

“لیکن!” زید نے کچھ بولنا چاہا۔

“دو بجے ایڈریس ملتے ہی پہنچ جانا۔ گڈ بائے۔”
