وہ اس کے ساتھ چلتے بڑبڑائی۔وہ پانچ فٹ دو انچ کی تھی اور وہ چھ فٹ کا۔
“کچھ کہا آپ نے؟” وہ اسکی طرف مڑا۔
“نہیں سر۔بالکل بھی نہیں۔”وہ مسکرائی۔
“قد کی طرح کان بھی لمبے ہیں۔”
دیدہ دلیری سے یہ جملہ اونچی آواز میں کہا۔ہاں مگر اردو میں کہا تھا۔وہ جو اس سے دو قدم آگے تھا۔
رک کر اسکے خود تک آنے کا انتظار کیا۔اور اسکے کے برابر آتے ہی بولا۔
“میری اردو بھی بہت اچھی ہے۔”اس نے جوابا ًاردو میں کہا۔اسکا اوپر کا سانس اوپر اور نیچے کا نیچے رہ گیا۔اس انگریز سے کب اردو کی توقع تھی۔لیکن فورا ًہی خود کو سنبھالا۔
“اردو ایک عالمگیر زبان ہے۔جسے دنیا کا کوئی بھی شخص بول سکتا ہے۔”
اس نے ڈھٹائی سے گردن اکڑائی۔جیسے یہاں زبانوں کے مقابلے میں اسکی قومی زبان جیتی تھی۔مصطفی نے اس کی حالت دیکھ کر ہنسی روکنے کی کوشش کی۔
“خیر اردو اتنی بھی عالمگیر نہیں ہے۔”
“اگر عالمگیر نہ ہوتی تو اس وقت ٹاپ تھری آئی ٹی کمپنی کا مالک اتنے صاف لہجے میں اسے نہ بول رہا ہوتا۔”وہ مامن سجاد تھی۔وہ بھلا کب لاجواب ہوئی تھی۔اب کی بار وہ کھل کر ہنس دیا تھا۔
“لگتا ہے آپ کو اردو سے بہت محبت ہے۔”
اب وہ اردو میں ہی بات کررہا تھا۔

“بوٹنگ پسند ہے؟” مصطفی نے موضوع بدلا۔
“بالکل بھی نہیں۔” صاف جواب آیا تھا۔
“آپ کو پتہ ہے مس مامن یہاں برج خلیفہ ٹاپ سے کراچی نظر آتا ہے۔”
وہ جو اب تک بے نیاز بنی ہوئی تھی۔ایک دم سے رکی۔
“واقعی؟؟” لہجے میں حیرت بھری خوشی در آئی تھی۔
