دعا فار گاڈ سیک یار ۔اتنی بڑی بات نہیں ہے یہ ۔بچوں کو اکثر ٹھنڈ لگ جاتی ہے ایک دو دن میں وہ بالکل ٹھیک ہو جائے گا انشااللہ “۔وہ کتنی دیر سے اسے بے آواز روتے دیکھ رہا تھاجو بار بار مزمل کے چہرے پر ہاتھ پھیر رہی تھی ۔آخر کار وہ تنگ ہو کر اسکوآہستہ آواز میں سخت لہجہ اختیار کرتے ڈپٹ گیا تھا ۔بدلے میں اس نے اپنی پانی بھری بھوری کانچ سی آنکھوں سے اسکو دیکھا تھا ۔اور فارس پہلی بار ان آنکھوں کو دیکھ کر ٹھٹکا تھا ۔ان نظروں میں اس کے لیے پہلی بار شکایت کی تحریر دکھائی دی تھی ۔غم و غصّہ پنپتا نظر آیا تھا ۔وہ پوری طرح اسکی طرف سیدھی ہو کر بیٹھی تھی ۔اور احساسات کی رو میں بہہ کر نادانستہ بولتی چلی گئی تھی ۔

“آپ کبھی نہیں سمجھے گے فارس کبھی نہیں ۔۔۔۔۔۔آپ سمجھ ہی نہیں سکتے ۔۔آپ تو ہمیشہ سے بے خبر رہے ہیں ۔۔۔مجھ سے ۔۔میری ذات سے ۔۔میری ہر تکلیف ،ہر درد سے ۔آپ کبھی محسوس کر پائے ہیں نہ کبھی آپکو احساس ہوگا “۔اس پر نظریں گاڑھے اسکی آنکھوں میں آنکھیں ڈالے وہ پہلی بار بنا کسی خوف و خدشے کے بولی تھی تو اسکی دھیمی آواز میں اک ان دیکھا سا درد تھا ۔وہ بس یک ٹک حیرت زدہ سا اسے دیکھے گیا

“جانتے بھی ہیں کتنی تکلیف ہوتی ہے جب پوری رات اپنے چھوٹے سے معصوم بچے کو گود میں اٹھا کر اسکی مدھم پڑھتی سانسوں کو بار بار ناک کے قریب ایسے انگلیاں لے جا کر محسوس کرنا پڑے “۔اس نے مزمل کے ناک کے قریب اپنا ہاتھ کیا تھا ۔”وہ رات قیامت کی رات تھی فارس ۔میں نے کتنی بار جا کر امی کا دروازہ بجایا تھا میں گڑگڑائی تھی ان کے سامنے کہ اسے ہسپتال لے چلیں ۔لیکن انہوں نے کیا کہا صبح تک انتظار کرو خود ہی ٹھیک ہو جائے گا ۔وہ رات کتنی طویل ہو گئی تھی ۔آپ کو کیا پتہ ؟۔میں ایک ایک لمحہ مری ہوں اس رات ۔۔۔اسکی ھر اکھڑ تی سانس مجھے بے جان کر رہی تھی ۔مگر آپ نہیں تھے “۔

اسکے آنسو مسلسل بہہ رہے تھے ۔وہ مزمل کا چہرہ دیکھتی اک ٹرانس میں بولے جا رہی تھی۔اسکی آواز میں اک کرب کی سی کیفیت تھی ۔بے بسی تھی ،گزرے ماضی کی درد ناکی تھی ۔اس نے اسکو دیکھا تھا جو ششدر سا بیٹھا یک ٹک اسکو دیکھ رہا تھا ۔کچھ سمجھتا کچھ نا سمجھی کی سی حالت میں تھا ۔ اسکی کانپتی ٹھوڑی نے فارس کی دل کی دنیا میں طلاتم سا برپا کیا تھا ۔کچھ دیر کے توقف کے بعد وہ بولی تو آواز میں نا آسودہ حسرتوں کا اک جہاں آباد تھا ۔

“آپ کیوں نہیں تھے فارس ؟جب مجھے آپ کی ضرورت تھی ۔آپ کی اولاد کو آپ کی ضرورت تھی ۔آپ اتنے بے خبر کیوں تھے ؟اگر مزمل کو اس رات کچھ ہو جاتا تو خدا کی قسم میں نے آپکو روز محشر کسی صورت معاف نہیں کرنا تھا “۔اسکا گریبان اپنے ہاتھوں میں لیے وہ زکام زدہ بھیگی آواز میں چٹانوں سی سختی لیے بولی تھی مگر اس کی آواز کے بر عکس اس کا وجود کسی سوکھے پتے کا مانند کانپ رہا تھا ۔وہ اسکے سینے پہ دھرے اپنے ہاتھوں پر پیشانی رکھے بلک بلک کر رو دی تھی ۔اور فارس وہ تو جیسے زلزلوں کی زد میں آ گیا تھا ۔اسکو مبہم سی باتوں نے اسکو مضطرب کر دیا تھا ۔اسکے آنسو وہ اپنے دل پر گرتے محسوس کر رہا تھا ۔اسکا درد اس نے اپنے سینے میں محسوس کیا تھا ۔کتنی عجیب بات تھی وہ یہ بات سرے سے جانتا ہی نہیں تھا ۔وہ اپنی اولاد کی تکلیفوں سے نا واقف رہا تھا ۔اسکے چہرے کا رنگ متغیر ہوا تھا ۔اتنی سی آگاہی ہی اسے کرب کے سمندر کی اتھاہ گهرائیوں میں دھکیل گئی تھی ۔

اس میں اتنی ہمت نہیں رہی تھی کہ وہ ہاتھ بڑھا کر اسے دلاسا دے پاتا ،یا تسلی کا کوئی لفظ ادا کر پاتا ۔اس وقت اس کے سامنے اک ماں بیٹھی تھی ۔جس کے ایک ایک لفظ میں سچائی کی مہک تھی ۔وہ کسی صورت اسکی بات کو جھوٹ نہیں گردان سکا ۔پہلی بار ۔۔۔پہلی بار اسے احساس ہوا تھا وہ اس کے معاملے میں کوتاہی برت گیا تھا ۔وہ اسکی شریک حیات تھی مگر وہ کبھی اسکا شریک غم نہ بن سکا ۔اسے ان لمحوں میں پہلی بار اپنی بے اعتنائی پر ملال ہوا تھا ۔
