” اس کے سر پر ہاتھ رکھتے ہوئے میں نے تو یہ سوچا تھا کہ بھائی کے ہاں بیاہ رہا ہوں۔ اپنوں میں۔۔۔بیٹی سمجھتے ہیں۔ کتنی غلط فہمی کا شکار تھا میں۔” ابو کے الفاظ ٹوٹتے جا رہے تھے۔ تائی نے ان کی بات بیچ میں کاٹی۔ “واللہ اللہ کی قسم کھا کر کہتی ہوں فراز بیٹی سے بھی بڑھ کر سمجھا ہے۔ کیا کمی تھی اس کو پوچھیں اپنی بیٹی سے؟

ہر طرح کی آزادی دے رکھی تھی۔ اب تم جذبات میں ایسا فیصلہ مت کرو۔ ایک عدد تھپڑ مار بھی دیا تو شوہر تو مجازی خدا ہوتا ہے۔ یہ حق رکھتا ہے۔۔۔تمہارا بھائی بھی تو مجھے۔۔۔” “نہیں رکھتا حق۔۔!” ابو چلائے تھے۔ وہ نہیں رکھتا حق، کوئی بھی اپنی بیوی کو مارنے کا حق نہیں رکھتا۔ میرے بھائی نے اگر آپ کو مارا بھی تو
