اس نے اپنا سفید لیس والا پیسٹل پنك دپٹا سر پر درست كیا اور عجلت میں دروازہ كھولا۔ ایك لمحے كو اس كہ دل كی دھڑكن تھم گیٔ۔ عود كی خشبو كافی تیز تھی۔ اس نے گہری سانس لی اور باہر آی۔ وہ اس خوشبو كا تعكوب کرتی اگلے كمرے كی طرف چھوٹے چھوٹے دگ بھر رہی تھی۔ وہ سنگل سوفے پر بیٹھا تھا۔ اور ہادی اس كہ این سامنے جو اسے اتا دیكھ اب كھڑا ہوگیا تھا۔ ابا نا جانے كہاں چلے گۓ تھے۔ اس نے گھبراہٹ سے اپنے ہاتھوں كی مٹھی بھینچی تو اپنی ٹھنڈی برف سے بھی زیادہ ٹھنڈی ہتھیلی محسوس كی۔ وہ چھوٹے چھوٹے ڈگ بھرتی ہادی كہ پاس آی۔ اسے اس شخص كی نگاہیں خد پر محسوس ہو رہی تھی۔ جو اسے اور زیادہ مضطرب كر رہی تھی۔ ہادی اسے وہاں بیٹھ نے كا بول كر خد باہر نكل گیا۔

اس كی بڑی بڑی نیلی انكھیں كان كہ پیچھے سے جھانک تے بھورے گھنے بال وہ گورا معصوم چہرہ۔ اسے احساس ہوا كہ اس نے اس لڑكی كو دیكھا ہی پہلی دفع تھا۔ كیا كوی سادگی میں بھی اتنا خوبصورت ہو سكتا تھا۔ اس نے ہمیشہ اسے نقاب میں دیكھا تھا۔ وہ روشن چہرہ آج پہلی دفع دیكھ رہا تھا۔ وہ مسلسل اپنے پیر كی انگلیاں ہلا رہی تھی۔ اس نے اس كی بے چینی كو سمجھ كر ان كہ درمیان ركھی اس چھوٹی میز پر ركھے جگ سے گلاس میں پانی انڈیلا۔ كمرے میں اتنی خاموشی تھی كہ پانی كہ گلاس میں گرنے كی اواز بھی سنای دے رہی تھی۔ اس نے گلاس اس كی جانب بڑھایا۔

” ابھی تمہاری عمر بہت كم ہے۔ پھر شادی كا انتخاب كیوں؟” اس نے نچلا لب كاٹ تے ہوے پوچھا۔

” گاوں میں ایسے ہی ہوتا ہے۔” سام نے سے سپاٹ جواب آیا۔ دوبارہ ایك غیر معمولی خاموشی چھای۔ كچھ دیر بعد عباد نے ہی اس خاموشی كو توڑا۔

” دیكھو ہادیہ تم ابھی چھوٹی ہو۔ تمہارے پاس ابھی زندگی میں فتح كرنے كو بہت كچھ باكی ہے۔ اب جو كی یہ شادی ہو چوكی ہے تو اب یہ تمہارا فیصلہ ہے، تم چاہو تو اسے نبھاؤ۔ چاہو تو ہم مل كر اس معاملے كو سورٹ آوٹ كر لیں گے۔” وہ ہاتھ جھولا كر سمجھانے والے انداز میں بول رہا تھا۔ ہادیہ نے اپنی جھوكی نظریں اٹھا كر اسے حیرا نی سے دیكھا۔

” میں سمجھی نہیں۔” اس نے نا سمجھی سے كہا۔ اسے واقع سمجھ نہیں ایا تھا كی وہ كہنا كیا چاہتا تھا۔ وہ اگے كو جھوكا۔

” ہادیہ تم كچھ دن كا وقت لے لو اور سوچو كہ تم اس زبر دستی كہ رشتے كو قائم رکھنا چاہتی ہو یا نہیں۔” اس تحمل سے بول رہا تھا۔

سمان نے شام كہ وقت گہرا نیلا رنگ اختیار كیا ہوا تھا۔ جس پر تارے چمچماتے نظر آرہے تھے۔ وہ سرمیٔ ٹی شرٹ پر اوپن شرٹ پہنے اپنی گاڑی ایك سوپر ماركیٹ كہ پاركنگ ایریا میں لگا كر نیچے اترا۔ وہ نظریں فون میں گڑے سكرین پر انگلیاں چلا رہا تھا جب سامنے سے آی روشنی نے منظر كو مسدود كر دیا۔ اس نے بے اختیار بازو سے روشنی كو روك نے كی کوشش كی۔ روشنی بجھی۔ ایك بڑی سی گاڑی جو اسے ٹكر ہی مارنے والی تھی، اس كہ سامنے کھڑی تھی۔ گاڑی كہ ڈرایور نے كھڑكی كا كانچ نیچے كیا۔

” محترمہ كیا كرہیں ہیں؟” ویجے نے ایك ہاتھ سے سوالیہ انداز میں جھنجلا كر كہا تھا۔ گاڑی میں بیٹھی لڑكی فوراً ہی اتر كر باہر نكلی۔

” اوہ ائ ایم سو سوری۔ آپ كو چوٹ تو نہیں لگی؟” پیسٹل زرد رنگ كی خلی خلی لانگ ڈریس میں ملبوس لڑكی نے پریشانی كا اظہار كیا۔

” ویسے ابھی تو بچ گیا ہوں۔ لیکن آپ نے مجھے مار نے كی پوری کوشش كی ہے۔ اٹیمپٹ ٹو مرڈر كہ چارجز لگیں گے آپ پر۔” اس نے بہ زاہری تور پر مزاقیہ ہا تھا۔

” وہ دراصل میں نے ابھی ابھی ڈرائیونگ سیكھی ہے۔ مجھے ٹھیك سے گاڑی پارك كرنا نہیں آتا۔” لڑكی نے مسكرا كر وضاحت كی۔

” مطلب لائسینس كہ بغیر ڈرائیو كر رہی ہیں۔ پھر تو سمھیں كیس بنے گا آپ پر۔ وكیل سے پنگا لے لیا ہے آپ نے۔” اس نے آنكھیں پھیلاے ہنس كر كہا۔

” ویسے آپ مجھے معصوم پر كیس كر نے كی بجاے میری گاڑی پارك كرنے میں مدد كر دیں تو زیادہ بہتر ہوگا، نہیں۔” اس نے شائستگی سے كہتے ہوے گاڑی كی چابی اس كی جانب بڑھای۔

” ویسے تو مجھے آپ پر كیس ہی كرنا چاہیے۔ لیکن آج كسی نے مجھ سے كہا ہے كی میں ایك اچھا انسان ہوں۔ اس لیے آپ كی مدد كر ہی دیتا ہوں۔” اس نے شانے اچكاے۔

ویجے نے اپنا فون ڈیش بورڈ پر ركھا اور مرر سے بیك ویو دیكھ تے ہوے گاڑی پیچھے لی۔ وہ گاڑی كافی مہنگی تھی۔ اگلی نشست پر بیٹھی لڑكی كہ ملبوسات، ہاتھ میں دمكتی انگوٹھی بھی كافی مہنگی نظر آرہی تھی۔ وہ لڑكی كسی ریس خاندان كی چشم و چراغ لگتی تھی۔

” ویسے كبھی آپ اپنی اس بڑی گاڑی سے كسی كا قتل كر دیں تو میرے پاس آ جایے گا۔ كیوں كہ وكیل كی ضرورت تو آپ كو لازماً پڑے گی۔” ویجے نے اسے اپنا كارڈ دیتے ہوے كہا۔

” جی بہت شكریا ۔” اس نے مسكرا كر اس كا كارڈ قبول كر لیا۔

وہ گاڑی سے اتر كر سوپر ماركیٹ میں داخل ہو گیا تھا۔ اس نے چاكلیٹس كی قطار سے كچھ پروٹین بار اٹھای اور اگے جی جانب بڑھ گیا۔

” سونیے۔ ایكس كیوز می۔ مسٹر لایر۔” كسی لڑكی كہ چلانے كی اواز پر ویجے نے پلٹ كر دیكھا۔ وہ لڑكی دور سے اسے اواز دیتی۔ ہاتھ ہلا تی اس كی جانب آ رہی تھی۔

” كیا كہیں سچ میں قتل تو نہیں كر آی محترمہ۔” اس نے حیرت سے كہا تھا۔

” آپ كا فون گاڑی میں رہ گیا تھا۔” اس نے ہانپتے ہوے كہا۔

” ارے یہ میں كیسے بھول گیا۔” اس نے نا سمجھی سے كہتے ہوے ہاتھ بڑھا كر اس لڑكی سے اپنا فون وصول كیا۔

” وكیل صاحب اپنا فون نہیں سنبھال سكتے۔ میرا كیس كیسے لڑیں گے؟” اس نے مسكراہٹ دباے كہا۔

” اب آپ مجھے underestimate كر رہی ہیں۔” اس نے ایك ایبرو اچكاے كہا تھا۔ وہ لڑكی بیك وقت اسے ذہین بھی لگی تھی اور معصوم بھی۔ ورنہ كون سمجھدار كسی انجان آدمی كو یوں گاڑی میں بیٹھا لے تا ہے۔ اس نے یقیناً نادانی میں اس سے مدد مانگ لی تھی۔ لیکن اس كی باتیں موتاثر كن تھیں۔
