اس کے التجائی لہجے ہے پہ الویرہ نے نظر اٹھا کر اسے دیکھا۔ “وہ تو ہو چکی تم پر۔۔۔ وہ پھول تمہارے حق میں اچھے ثابت ہوئے تھے۔”
مسکرا کر بولتی وہ سامنے سے ہٹی مگر کیہان سرعت سے اسے واپس سامنے لے آیا۔
“غور سے سن لو آج ہی اپیا کو تم نے شادی کے لیے رضا مندی دینی ہے۔۔۔“ اس کے تنبیہی انداز پر الویرہ کو ہنسی آگئی تھی۔
” اور اگر رضا مندی نہیں دی تو۔۔؟” ” تو پھر سوچ لینا بہت مشکل میں آجاؤ گی کیونکہ میں تمہاری طرح چند پھولوں سے راضی ہونے والا نہیں۔۔۔“ اس کی شوخ مسکراتی نگاہوں اور معنی خیز لہجے پر وہ بری طرح جھینپ کر نظر چراتی سرعت سے دور ہوتی آگے بڑھ گئی۔

اپنی دودھیا کرنوں سے گندھے انسان کے شکوؤں پر جو شاید صدیوں سے الویرہ کے دل کے گوشوں میں ہی کہیں چھپا ہوا تھا
خواب بن کر برسوں سے آنکھوں میں بسا ہوا تھا جانے کتنی ان گنت تاریک راتوں کے صبر کا حاصل تھا وہ کہ جس کی سنگت میں ہر راستہ روشن اور منور تھا۔
