جا رہی تھی ۔ جب کچھ لمحے ایسے ہی بیتے تو مدیحہ نے ہنس کر پوچھا ہی لیا : 

کیا دیکھ رہے ہو؟“ 

روحیل نے اُسے دیکھتے ہوئے گہرا سانس لیا : ” دیکھ رہا ہوں کوتم شائد کوئی میجک جانتی ہو، کچھ تو ہے جو 

تم میں الگ ہے۔“ مجھ میں کیا الگ ہے، میں تو ایک عام سی لڑکی ہوں۔ مدیحہ نے مسکرا کر کندھے اچکائے۔ ”میری نظر سے پوچھو تو پتا چلے تمھیں۔ میں نے خود تمھیں بس کے اندر جاتے ہوئے دیکھا، اور تم 

وہاں سے غائب؟ یہ کیسے ممکن ہے؟ روحیل نے الجھ کر پوچھا۔ 

اس لیے کہ میں بس کے اندر گئی نہیں ۔ مدیحہ نے مسکرا کر بتایا۔ 

اوه ….. ویسے صبح جس طرح تم نے مجھے پروفیسر کے سامنے بچایا وہ بڑا غضب تھا۔ روحیل نے 

مسکرا کر کہا۔ ”اور تم نے میرا شکریہ بھی ادا نہیں کیا ۔ مدیحہ نے ہنس کر کہا۔ 

اور میں نے تمھیں شکریہ بھی نہیں کہا …..

سچ پوچھوتو میں اور میثم سمجھ نہیں پار ہے کہ تم نے ہماری مدد کیوں کی؟ پھر بنا کچھ کہے تم کلاس سے چلی گئیں اور اُس کے بعد تم بس میں چڑھیں اور میں نے تمھیں خود بس میں داخل ہوتے ہوئے دیکھا،لیکن 

کسی جادو کی طرح تم بس سے غائب۔ روحیل حیران ہو کر کہنے لگا۔ پہلی بات میں نے صبح اس لیے تمھیں بچایا کیونکہ مجھے پتا ہے کہ تم صبح لیٹ ہونے کے عادی ہو، ہم 

بھی یونیورسٹی میں پڑھتے ہیں اس لیے اندازہ ہے کہ اکثر بندہ لیٹ ہو جاتا ہے۔ مدیحہ نے مسکرا کر کہا۔ 

اور میں نے تمھارا شکر یہ ابھی تک ادا نہیں کیا ۔ روحیل نے مسکرا کر کہا۔
