جو آجکل اس سے چھپتی پھر رہی تھی۔ ” آپکے لئے نہیں بنائے تھے، خالہ اور باقی بھائیوں کے لئے بناۓ گئے تھے۔۔ ”
وہ بھی کہاں اسکا ادھار رکھتی تھی۔ فورا حساب بے باک کر دیتی تھی۔
” کیوں بھئ کیا میں مہمان نہیں یہاں۔۔” وہ جو رات کے کھانے کی تیاری کر رہی تھی مصروف سے انداز میں بھی مسلسل
اسے جواب دینے سے نہیں چوک رہی تھی۔ اور زجاح کو دل کے اتنے ہی قریب محسوس ہو رہی تھی۔ اسکا یہ با اعتماد انداز
اسے کتنی خوشی دیتا تھا۔ کاش وہ اسے اس وقت یہ بتا سکتا۔ لیکن ابھی اسے انتظار کرنا تھا۔
” مهمان تین دن کا ہوتا ہے اسکے بعد مہمان نہیں رہتا بلکہ بلائے جان بن جاتا ہے۔۔ ” سر جھٹک کر بولتی گ
ویا اسکی معلومات میں اضافہ کرنے لگی۔ “تم آجکل مجھ سے کچھ زیادہ نہیں لڑ رہیں۔۔” وہ اسکے لڑاکا انداز دیکھ کر عش عش کر رہا تھا۔
” تو کیا ضرورت تھی آپ کو یہاں آنے اور شادی کرنے کی اور وہ بھی اس ربا سے کیا ساری دنیا کی لڑکیاں مر گئیں ہیں؟؟”
وہ جو بند گوبھی کاٹ رہی تھی۔دونوں چیزیں ہاتھ سے رکھ کر پوری طرح اسکی جانب مڑتی ایک ہاتھ سے ناک پر پھسلتا چشمہ
اوپر کر کے جھنجھلاتے ہوئے بولی۔
“کیوں اس میں کیا خرابی ہے؟؟” ہونٹوں میں مسکراہٹ دہائے وہ بھنویں اچکا کر سنجیدہ لہجے میں بولا۔
“اگر وہ مجھے اپنے ساتھ رخصت کروا کر لے گی تو۔۔۔ تو چھوڑوں گی نہیں میں آپ کو۔۔” وہ روہانسی لہجے میں اسے دھمکانے لگی۔
زجاح اسکے انداز پر بے اختیار ہنسا۔ “اچھا کیا کرو گی؟؟ ” وہی مسکراتی چمک لئے گہری بولتی نظریں جو حیفہ کو اندر تک
اتر کر دل کا حال جاننے کی کوشش کرتی محسوس ہوتی تھیں۔
“میں روز آپ کو بد دعائیں دوں گی۔۔ کہ یہ ربا آپ کی زندگی عذاب بنادے ” وہ بے بسی سے بولی۔
اسکی معصوم باتوں پر اس کا دل کیا اسے ان ظالم لوگوں سے چھپا کر ابھی اسی وقت اپنے ساتھ لے جائے۔
“میں نے کیا بگاڑا ہے تمہارا؟؟ کہا تو تھا تمہیں کہ کوئی اور لڑکی ڈھونڈ دو۔۔” کندھے اچکا کر بولا۔
” میں کوئی وچولن ہوں۔ جو لڑکیاں ڈھونڈتی پھروں۔ دیکھیں اب بھی وقت ہے وہ بھی آپ سے شادی نہیں کرنا چاہتی اور
میں بھی اسکے ساتھ آپکے گھر نہیں جانا چاہتی۔۔”پھر آپ کہیں اور کیوں نہیں کر لیتے۔۔” وہ اسے سمجھانے لگی۔
” اگر اسکے بغیر میرے گھر جانا پڑے تو چلو گی ؟” اپنی بات کے جواب میں اسکا اتنا غیر معمولی سوال سن کر وہ الجھی۔
اسکی بات کا مقصد سمجھ نہیں آیا۔ ” اس آفر پر ضرور سوچنا!!” اسے ہکا بکا چھوڑ کر وہ کچن سے نکل گیا۔
” اسے نکال کر۔۔۔ کیا مطلب۔۔” وہ ابھی تک اس ابھی ڈور کے سرے کو پکڑنے کی کوشش کر رہی تھی جس میں
وہ اسے الجھا کر نکل گیا۔ مگر حیفہ اسکی بات کا مقصد سمجھنے سے قاصر رہی۔
