وہ اس کا ہاتھ تھامے یوں بول رہا تھا جیسے ان کے درمیان کبھی کوئی فاصلے نہ آئے ہوں اس کے الفاظ اس کا انداز نوال کو اپنی سماعت اور بصارت پر شبہ ہوا تھا۔
“مجھے تم سے معافی مانگنی ہے اپنے ہر برے رویے کی اپنی ہر زیادتی کی۔۔ تمہیں منانا ہے ہر صورت اور تمہاری دی ہوئی ہر
سزا بخوشی قبول کرنا ہے مگر بس ایک گزارش ہے کہ سزا زیادہ طویل نہ ہو کیونکہ تم سے دوری کا عذاب میں مزید نہیں جھیل سکتا،
پانچ سال خود ساختہ سزا کاٹی ہے میں نے اور ذرا بھی رحم نہیں آیا تمہیں مجھ پر ؟“ وہ اس کا ہاتھ تھامے دھیمی آواز میں جیسے شکوہ کر رہا تھا اس سے۔
“میں جانتا ہوں صرف معافی مانگنے سے ان سب دکھوں کا ازالہ نہیں ہوگا جو میں نے تمہیں دیئے ہیں مگر پھر بھی آئی ایم سوری نوال!! ”
اس نے کہا تھا اور دوسرے ہی پل وہ اس کے کندھے سے سر ٹکا گئی تھی وہ سیل رواں جو مدتوں سے اس کے اندر جمع ہو رہا تھا آج اسے
راستہ مل گیا تھا وو جو اس کے سامنے ایک بار بھی نہیں بکھری تھی آج جب وہ سمیٹنے کے لئے آیا تھا تو وہ ریزہ ریزہ ہو کر بکھر گئی تھی
وہ کتنی دیر تک اس کے چپ ہونے کا انتظار کرتا رہا تھا۔
“پلیز نوال!!! بس کرو کیا بارش کے ساتھ شرط لگائی ہے تم نے۔۔۔” وہ اس کا چہرہ سامنے کرتے ہوئے اس کے آنسوؤں کو اپنی پوروں پر جذب کرنے لگا تھا اس کی بھیگی پلکیں دھیرے دھیرے لرز رہی تھیں چند لٹیں کیچر کی قید سے آزاد ہو کر اس کے چہرے کا احاطہ کئے ہوئے تھیں زرد رنگ کے ملگج سے کپڑوں میں وہ خود بھی زرد ہی ہو رہی تھی۔
“پھر معاف کردو گی ناں مجھے؟“ وہ اس کے چہرے کو نگاہوں کے حصار میں لئے مدھم سرگوشی کی صورت پوچھ رہا تھا۔
” نہیں۔۔۔” وہ تیزی سے روئی روئی آنکھوں کے ساتھ اس کی جانب دیکھ کر نفی میں سر ہلا گئی تھی۔
” اوکے تو نہیں کرو معاف۔۔۔ محبت میں معافی تلافی کی ضرورت ہوتی بھی نہیں ہے۔۔ محبت تو ہر خسارے کا ازالہ خود ہی کر دیتی ہے
اور میری محبت بھی تمہارے دکھوں کا مداوا اور اس جدائی کا ازالہ خود ہی کردے گی۔ ہاں نوال!!! تمہاری محبت بنا دستک بنا آہٹ
میرے دل میں در آئی تھی، یہاں سے جاتے وقت میں اکیلا نہیں گیا تھا بلکہ تمہاری ایک نظر کی التجا کو اپنے دل کے ساتھ ہی باندھ کر لے گیا تھا، تمہاری محبت میرے ہمراہ تھی ہر لمحہ ہر پل اور میرا دل۔۔ وہاں تو اب عرصہ ہوا صرف تمہارا حکم چلتا ہے، ہر طرف سلطنت دل
میں تمہاری اجارہ داری ہے صرف تم ہی تم ہو۔۔۔” وہ جذب سے کہتا اسے خود سے قریب کر گیا تھا۔
” اگر واقعی تم اس لمحے میری محبت سے واقف ہو گئے تھے تو پھر چلے کیوں گئے؟ کیوں مجھے اتنی بڑی سزا دی بہت سنگدل ہو تم عرباض !!!
نہ میری دوستی اور نہ ہی میری محبت تم نے کسی چیز کی قدر نہیں کی۔۔۔” وہ پورے حق سے اس سے پوچھ رہی تھی۔
” ہاں واقعی میں تمہاری دوستی کی قدر نہیں کر سکا مگر محبت کو میں نے بہت سنبھال کر رکھا ہے جس پر صرف میرا حق ہے
نہ ہی مجھ سے پہلے کوئی اس محبت کا حقدار تھا اور نہ ہی میرے بعد کوئی اس محبت کا دعویدار ہوگا اس محبت پر اور
اس محبت کرنے والی پر صرف اور صرف میرا حق ہے۔۔ ہے ناں؟” آج بدگمانی کا غبار خود به خود چھٹ چکا تھا
وہ اس کی محبت کا قائل ہو چکا تھا وہ پوری طرح اس کے حصار میں تھی، فرار کی تمام راہیں مسدور تھیں اور وہ اس
محبت بھرے حصار سے فرار چاہتی بھی نہیں تھی، عرباض شاید پیچھے گزرے سارے سالوں کا ازالہ ایک ساتھ ہی کر دینا چاہتا تھا
