سویرا ٹرے میں دو کپ سجائے مکھی وغیرہ کے پاس چلی گئی تو اس نے ڈیڈی کی چائے لے کر ان کی اسٹڈی کا رخ کیا۔ اپنی ہی دھن میں وہ اسٹڈی میں داخل ہوئی تھی مگر وہاں صرف عمر کو براجمان دیکھ کر ہاتھوں کے طوطے، مینا، چڑیا سب اڑ گئے۔ ڈیڈی کہاں ہیں؟“ اس نے گھبرائے ہوئے انداز میں دریافت کیا۔ میں دریافت مسجد کمیٹی کا اجلاس ہو رہا تھا انکل ابھی مسجد میں ہی ہیں۔ عمر کے جواب پر وہ سر ہلاتے ہوئے واپس مڑی تھی۔ ویسے مجھے بھی چائے کا کوئی خاص پر ہیز نہیں ہے۔ پی لیتا ہوں بھی کبھار ۔ عمر کی متبسم آواز کانوں سے عمرائی تو وہ بے تحاشا شرمندہ ہوتے ہوئے پلٹی ۔ سوری کہنے کے ساتھ کپ عمر کے سامنے رکھا۔ اگر اپنے قیمتی وقت میں سے کچھ لمحے عنایت کر دو تو میں کچھ کہنا چاہتا ہوں ۔ عمر اس بار سنجیدگی سے گویا ہوا۔ روشانے کا دل دھڑکا۔ ہتھیلیاں الگ پسینہ پسینہ ہوئیں۔ ڈائجسٹ میں چھپی کہانیوں کے مطابق سی میں کوئی رومانوی سچویشن رونما ہونے کو تھی۔ ایک بار تم نے کہا تھا کہ اللہ کسی ڈاکٹر کو آپ کا پڑوسی نہ بنائے۔ اب اللہ ایک ڈاکٹر کو آپ کیا لائف پارٹنر بنانے والا ہے اس پر کوئی اعتراض تو نہیں۔ وہ سنجیدگی سے استفسار کر رہا تھا۔ نہ جملے میں گوشے میں مایوسی ابھری تھی۔ بہر حال اس نے تھی وی انوری دل کی بات اندرینی میں گردن ہلا دی۔ رون بلادی ایک منٹ رکو ایک بات اور کرتی .. ہے۔ اسے جانے کے لیے پر تولتا دیکھ کر وہ پھر بولا وہ تھا۔ روشانے کے قدم تھم گئے۔ مجھے آلو بینگن اور آلو بینگن اور آلومٹر کچھ خاص پسند نہیں مجھے سبز پتوں والی سبزیاں ہی زیادہ اچھی لگتی ہیں۔ شادی کے بعد بتا دیا کرو گی نا ۔ کسی معصومیت سے استفسار کر رہا تھا۔ روشانے کا جی جل کر خاک ہوا۔ اس بار اثبات میں گردن ہلا دی۔ ایک آخری بات اور .. کچھ توقف کے بعد وہ بولا … روشانے کا جی دھڑکا ۔ اب جانے وہ کیا کہنے جا رہا تھا۔ میں سبز پتوں والی سبزیاں نہ صرف خود کھایا لاؤں گا ۔ تم میں کروں گا بلکہ تمہیں بھی زبر دستی کھلاؤں گا۔ آئرن کی بہت کمی ہے۔ بنا چوں چرا کیسے ساگ، پالک اور میتھی جیسی چیزیں کھا لیا کرو گی نا ؟“ وہ پوچھ رہا تھا۔ اس سوال کا جواب نہیں اور آپ کے ا اور آپ کے سب سے پہلے سوال کا جواب ہاں میں ہے۔ وہ ناراضی سے گویا ہوئی۔ عمر بنے اس کی بات پر غور کیا۔ سمجھ میں آئی تو بے ساختہ نہیں پڑا۔ روشانے نے اسے خفی سے گھورنا چاہا مگر اس کی بھوری شرارتی آنکھوں میں دیکھ نہ پائی “یہ ڈائجسٹ اتنے بھی جھوٹے نہیں ہوتے ۔” روشا نے اس کی محبت سے مسکراتی آنکھوں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے فورا ہی وہاں سے نو دو گیارہ ہوئی تھی۔ چین میں جا کر اس نے سب سے پہلے سویرا کی گردن مروڑنی تھی۔
