وہ انگلی دانتوں میں چباتے کوفت سے کھڑی پچھلے پانچ منٹ سے وقار کا انتظار کررہی تھی۔ پتا نہیں کہاں رہ گیا تھا۔ ابھی وہ پارکنگ میں کھڑی گاڑیوں کاہی موئنہ کررہی تھی جب پیچھے سے کسی نقاب پوش نے اسکے پیٹھ پر کوئی ٹھنڈی بھاری چیز رکھی شاید وہ گن تھی۔ دولمحوں میں اسکی حالت غیر ہوئی تھی ماتھے پر ننھے ننھے پسینے نمودار ہوئے۔
” کک۔۔۔کون۔۔” خوف سے پوچھا۔
” ڈکیت۔ “ سرسراتی آواز میں جواب آیا۔
” مم۔۔میرے پاس کچھ نہیں ہے ۔۔ میرے شوہر گاڑی پارک کرنے گئے ہیں۔ ان۔۔انکے پاس ہیں۔ ۔۔بہت سارے پیسے۔ “ کانپتی ٹانگوں کے ساتھ وہ جلدی جلدی بول گئی۔ پیچھے منہ پر نقاب باندھے وقار کے لیے اپنا قہقہ ضبط کرنا مشکل ہوگیا ۔ کیسے جان کا عذاب بنی ہوئی تھی یہ چار آنکھوں والی ایلین اور اب کیسے ڈر سے کانپ رہی تھی۔ اپنی آواز کو اور موٹا کرکے وہ اسکے کان کے قریب جھکا۔
” لیکن مجھے تو جان چاہیے۔ “ گلِ مقیم کی ہتھیلیاں بھیگ گئیں۔ جان جیسےلبوں پر آگئی۔ کہیں یہ وہ ہی تو نہیں تھا جو عورتوں پر حملہ کرتا تھا۔؟
” ہاں وہ بھی میرے شوہر کی لے لینا وہ ابھی آتے ہونگے۔ “ روتے ہوۓ وہ تو بول گئی پر اسکے پیچھے کھڑے وقار کا دماغ گھوم گیا۔ ابھی جو اس پر ترس آرہا تھا اور وہ سوچ رہا تھا مزاق ختم کردے ورنہ کہیں ہارٹ اٹیک ہی نا آجائے۔ لیکن اب جب وہ اس کی باتیں سن چکا تھا تو اب سارا رحم ھواء ہوگیا ۔
” لیکن مجھے تو کمینے لوگوں کی جان چاہیے۔ “ اسکی کمر پر رکھی لوہے ہی چھوٹی سی راڈ پر دباؤ ڈالا۔
” وو۔۔وہ۔وہ مجھ سے زیادہ کمینےہیں۔ “ کیسی تھی یہ لڑکی وقار صرف سوچ کہ رہ گیا۔ عورتیں تو اپنے شوہر کے لیے اپنی جان آگے کردیتی ہیں اور یہ اپنے شوہر کی جان ہتھیلی میں رکھے پیش کررہی تھی۔۔
” نہیں مجھے تو کمینی عورتوں کی جان چاہیے۔۔ “ کہتے ہوۓ اسنے قہقہ بھی نہیں لگایا تھا کہ وہ وقار کے پکڑنے سے پہلے اس کے قدموں میں گرگئی۔
