“میں تم سے معذرت کرنے کے لیے الفاظ ڈھونڈ رہا تھا تم شکریہ کر کے مزید شرمندہ کر دو بیوی۔۔“ وہ مسکرایا۔
” شرمندہ تو ماموں نے کیا تھا بے چاری امی اور خالہ کو کتنا لمبا لیکچر دیا تھا نا۔۔۔” شہرینہ کو یاد کر کے ہنسی آئی۔
“اچھا ہے ابھی اس لیکچر کا اثر کافی دنوں تک رہے گا۔ امید ہے کچھ عرصے تک راوی، ستلج، جہلم سب چین ہی چین لکھیں گے۔۔“
شہرام مسکرا کر بولا ۔”ویسے بیوی یہ چین لکھنے کے لیے صرف دریائے راوی کا نام ہی کیوں لیا جاتا ہے؟؟” وہ چونچالی کے موڈ میں تھا۔
” کاش فزکس کے بجائے آپ نے اردو پڑھی ہوتی شہرام!!” شہرینہ ہسنے لگی تھی ” صرف اس کھلکھلاہٹ کو دیکھنے کے لیے
فقرہ بولا ہے جناب!! ورنہ اردو زبان سے اتنی بھی نا واقفیت نہیں ہے ہماری جانتے ہیں کہ اردو دانوں نے چین لکھنے کے لیے
دریائے راوی کو ہی ذمہ داری سونپ رکھی ہے۔۔”وہ بولا تھا اور اس بار شہرینہ اپنے پڑھے لکھے میاں کو بس گھور کر ہی رہ گئی تھی۔
” اچھا یہ بتاؤ۔ اپنی شادی شدہ زندگی کے پہلے جھگڑے سے کیا سبق سیکھا؟؟” وہ مسکراتے لبوں سے پوچھنے لگا۔
” میں تو یہ ہی جان پائی ہوں شہرام کہ میاں بیوی کے رشتے میں بدگمانی کا گزر بھی نہیں ہونا چاہیے۔ ایک دوسرے کو غلطی
کا مارجن دینا چاہیے اور انا کو تھپک تھپک کر سلا دینا چاہیے۔ اب آپ بتائیں آپ نے کیا سبق سیکھا۔؟؟”

اور اب میں تمہیں خود کئی کئی دن کے لیے میکے چھوڑ کر آیا کروں گا۔۔۔“ وہ مسکراہٹ دباتے ہوئے سنجیدگی سے کہہ رہا تھا ۔
شہر ینہ نے ایسے گھور کر دیکھنا چاہا لیکن اس کی جذبے لٹاتی مسکراتی نگاہوں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے وہ نظریں جھکا کر مسکرادی تھی ۔
