ان ہی سے کریں گی ناں ۔ اب کیا میں جا کر یہ سامنے والے پڑوسی سے فرمائش کروں؟؟ ہیں بولیں، عورتوں کا کام ہے فرمائش کرنا
اور مردوں کا کام ہے پورا کرنا۔۔۔” “اچھا۔۔۔!!” عدیل کی آنکھیں اس انکشاف پر کھلیں۔
“اور صرف شوہر ہی کیوں بیٹی باپ سے، بہن بھائی سے اور مائیں بیٹوں ہی سے فرمائش کرتی ہیں۔۔ اور آج سے نہیں کرتیں ہمیشہ سے کرتی ہیں۔۔”
“تمہیں یہ سب باتیں کسی نے بتائیں؟” عدیل نے معصومیت سے پوچھا۔
“اور کیا تمہارا یہ کہنے کا مطلب ہے کہ مرد دنیا میں صرف عورتوں کی فرمائشیں پوری کرنے آئے ہیں۔۔۔”
” جی ہاں۔۔۔۔ مرد اسی لیے آئے ہیں!! کسی خوش فہمی میں مت رہیے گا، سمجھے آپ!!! سیمی سہی والا بھرکی تھی۔
“اور آج سے نہیں ہمیشہ سے۔۔۔ تاریخ گواہ ہے برطانیہ کے شہزادے نے عورت کے لیے تخت چھوڑ دیا تھا۔۔”
“اور تم میرا تختہ تک بکوانے کے چکر میں ہو۔۔۔” عدیل تیزی سے بولا۔ مگر سیمی کے اندر کا مقرر بیدار ہو چکا تھا۔
“شرابی فلم میں جیا پرادا’ امیتابھ بچن سے گا گا کر کہتی رہی۔ مجھے نولکھا منگوادے رے او میاں دیوانے۔۔۔” سیمی نے گا کر سنایا۔
عدیل کی آنکھیں کھل گئیں۔ ” ادھر پشاور میں صدیوں سے پٹھانیاں گارہی ہیں۔
“پشاور سے میری خاطر دنداسہ لانا او میرے گل خاناں۔۔” سیمی نے اونچی تان لگائی۔ حلق تر کرتا عدیل سیدھا ہو بیٹھا۔
” اور ان سب کو بھی چھوڑیں۔۔” سیمی کے پاس دلائل کی کمی نہیں تھی۔ عدیل کو یاد آیا۔ وہ یونی ورسٹی میں فی البدیہہ تقریر
کی ماہر تھی۔ “آج بھی آپ کی وہ چہیتی جیکولین فرنینڈس گلی گلی گاتی پھر رہی ہے۔ ” چٹیاں کلائیاں وے۔۔۔ او بے بی میری وائٹ کلائیاں دے۔۔۔ لادے رہے۔ مینوں شاپنگ کرادے ریکوسٹاں پالیاں وے۔۔” سیمی نے جوش خطابت میں الماری پر مکا مار دیا۔
جبکہ عدیل کے چودہ طبق روشن ہو چکے تھے۔ (روشن ہو کر بجھ بھی گئے تھے ) سیمی نے تو گویا ابھی اسٹارٹ لیا تھا۔
